RIP Andrew Breitbart: He died unexpectedly last night. Which is crazy. He wasn’t that old. Say what you will about the guy, but he was one of the architects of two of the Web’s most widely-read sites — The Drudge Report and HuffPo. So he left a huge mark. 

You know what? FUCK that. I remember the “huge mark” he left on Shirley Sherrod, and ACORN, and every racist, classist, homophobic dump he took in the media. HE chose that legacy, not me.

My first thought upon seeing a headline about it on the Chicago Tribune site: “What a shame.” I managed to squick myself out with my own sarcasm.
